Stayed here in July, only for a night as I was working in Santa Ponsa and needed somewhere to stay whilst waiting on moving into my apartment. The hotel was very spacious, clean and modern. The rooms all had balconies, some looking onto the pool. The staff were very friendly and it is in a great location especially for strolling into the town. Its about a 5 minute walk from the centre of Santa Ponsa and the beach, however far enough away to escape the noise.

My wife and I visited this hotel in October 2010. Santa Ponsa is a very pretty resort; lovely sandy beach in a cove, backed by a nature park with a flock of green parrots. We were all inclusive and the food was varied and good quality. The entertainment crew were good and even kept us entertained on 2 very wet days. I don't know why another reviewer complained about the pool. When we were there it was spotless and the chairs are placed for the use of guests using the snack bar adjacent to the pool. There were always suficient loungers. After we were there the hotel underwent a refurbishment and upgrade but we have not seen the results or current price.

10euro's to hire a TV remote control! All inclusive but you still have to buy your water at 1 euro for a small bottle. More Euros to hire a kettle or Iron, Nothing at all in the Bathrooms, not even a sachet of shampoo, See through threadbare towels. (we arrived on Sat 21st October and to be fair they did chuck a few sachets in on the tuesday).
They could have popped in through the patio sliding door because we could not lock it. Next door could not lock theirs either.
The hotel did have an Indoor pool as advertised, shame it did not have any water in. (Pool does not open until 1st november). The rep told us to read the small print in the brochure.
I felt sorry for the cruise and stay people who said to us that the hotel was a rude awakening after the cruise ship.
Mum certainly went to iceland for the food.
Sewage treatment plant across the road smelt terrible.
As I said not 4 T's Thomson in our opinion.

My husband, son and myself stayed here for a week, by the second day I hated it. The pool was disgusting the water seemed to be slimy almost opaque milky in appearance. There are far to many chairs and not enough sun loungers ( a plus though the indoor pool is spotless but who goes on holiday to swim in an indoor pool). The staff are rude and when I complained something had gone missing from my room the lady in charge treated me like I was having some sort of insane moment. The missing thing turned up 2 days later in a pocket of my suitcase I never use (how strange). As for Santa Ponsa itself I found it souless, a huge number of Scotish/Irish bars and not much else not that thats wrong but I like a change. I cannot stress enough how horrible I found this place.
