My wife and I spent 2 weeks here on half board and enjoyed it very much.
Food was excellent and plentiful our apartment was roomy and comfortable, the kitchen was on the small size but adequate.
Staff both on reception and the restaurant were friendly,polite,and helpful.
There is a small super market nearby which could provide all our needs,there is a larger supermarket about 20 minutes walk away but the walk back is uphill.
There is a bus stop close by and the buses run about every hour to Palma.

New Years Eve fantastic food, wines, champs all included, room was a suite fantastic, views fantastic, best New Year ever, hope the same next year

Originally we had booked 2 rooms but when I got there they had over sold th hotel so they had put us in tiny rooms -- to make up for it they gave us comp breakfast, comp dinner and best of all moved us to the penthouse of the hotel!! The view was amazing, th hotel's pool was really nice, the fact that it's in a quiet location just minutes from Ponsa nightlife was great! Although my friends and I caused torture for the staff they really excelled! Great hotel for families or young adults who don't mind walking a bit!

Stayed in Majorca for 4 days here and 4 days at the Eden Alcudia. The Eden Alcudia I rate an excellent 3* hotel, this 1* (although it was a bit more expensive!). I wouldn’t stay with the TRH hotel group again, there was evidence of cost cutting and cheapness all around. The reception area was dingy and the staff un-friendly. The hotel is run down with peeling paint. The rooms are ok, yes, a nice sea view but the hardest beds ever. The room wasn't cleaned once in four days, I didn't mind that but I had to go and find the maid to get my towels changed. (Thin threadbare things that passed for towels). By the pool were the nastiest cheapest plastic sun loungers that did not adjust, you couldn’t sun bathe on them unless you purchased an inflatable lilo to go on top.
But the worst part was the restaurant, after the lovely food at the Eden Alcudia this was a shock. The restaurant was like stepping back in time with the waiters checking your name off on a list, I had to laugh, you really wouldn’t want to eat here unless you had already paid. A very small choice of dishes, with over cooked fish and vegetables. One evening there was broccoli cheese which had been so boiled to death it disintegrated. There were notices up saying “it is strictly forbidden to take food out of the restaurant” you wouldn’t want to! I was thank full I had only booked 4 days here half board and not a week.
Didn’t rate Santa Ponsa very highly either. All a bit tacky and in need of an up-grade. Santa Ponsa beach was ok, but when you travel round Majorca there are so many nicer places. It’s a bit British abroad, if you like your English pubs and cafes you will probably like it here.
