we had been up since 2am travelling and found the welcome at the dalies somewhat lacking apersonel touch. manager speaking perfect english took my €150 deposit and sent me on my way to find the aprtment.
it was very nice. ok so far, then i read the letter from them and found the tone of it somewhat harsh. it was on my mind all week.
there was a few times when i went down to reception and the manager whose english was perfect, refused to understand me when asking where a bus stop was, or how i could top up my mobile phone. she just said ask the rep in the morning. there was no information from the dalies about salou, and i felt the manager had complete contempt to the visitors, people who have possibly saved up all year for a holiday.
on the flip side the staff where very nice, i felt one or two where embarrassed by the manager.
in short their nice when giving money but for gods sake dont bother them with any problems, or questions they suddenly dont understand english.

Agree with everything said previously, but for what you pay for the stay, you cannot complain about emptying the bins and leaving the place clean and tidy. Very well run, very clean, family friendly, quiet, very friendly staff, quite good location about 10 mins leisurely walk to the beach. On our arrival we realised our Air Con was not working. They had an engineer in our apartment fixing it within an hour. Later during the week a bunch of spanish drunken louts invaded the place shouting, singing, throwing stuff in the pool. The lady in charge dealt with them very promptly. Don't know what she said, but whatever it was they were quiet as mice within minutes and tidied up the mess they created and were never heard again. I was impressed with how keen they were not to tolerate this kind of thing. The only negatives I have to mention are the size of the pool and the fact that it is shaded until about 2:00PM (this is in July). The other thing I have to mention is the fact that the apt sleeps 4, but 2 will be on the couches, which wasn't a big deal for our kids. They didn't care as they were usually very tired after long days having fun. I have to say, I would go back to Les Dalies again. It's not the Ritz, but it's certainly all you need for an excellent price. If you can live with the very minor negatives, this place is well worth it.

Just returned from a week in Las Dalies, apartment was lovely, very new, although very thin walls. The staff were excellent and very friendly. On arriving we had to hand over 150 Euro for a deposit, we were expected to empty our own bins in the big bin outside the apartments which was accessable after 10pm. So there was no cleaners on a daily basis and the towels were changed every 3 days. After the 2nd day I asked a reception for a fresh towel but was told very politely that no I couldn't have one. The night before leaving a note was left in the door to say that we had to be out of the apartment at 10am the next morning for a member of staff to do a cleanliness inspection (I felt like a 5 year old!), for us to retrieve our deposit of 150 euro, there was to be no rubbish in the bins, dishes were to be clean and returned to the cupboards which is fine but I thought the bins were a bit over the top. So after our apartment was inspected the lovely lady at reception returned our hard earned euro, oh yeah the most suprising was the give you 2 toilet rolls and if that runs out its 40 cent for a roll at reception or its 69 cent for 4 rolls in the local supermarket! I can't stress how friendly the staff are though. Hope this was of some use! :)
