I have just come back from here this morning early hours. I went with my boyfriend for 9 nights.
The staff were as friendly as Spanish staff go, most of the time quite moody and not as helpful as you'd like.
The rooms were absolutely fine, cleaned nicely daily.. just very average.
The food was lovely, we were half board, breakfast and dinner were lovely everyday and plenty to choose from. There was show cooking at every mealtime, for breakfast they'd cook pancakes and waffles in front of you and you could choose from a wide variety of toppings. And dinner times they'd cook the meat in front of you how you like it eg steaks, hamburgers, hot dogs, fish etc..
The pool and bar were average size, very clean and well kept.
For August, the hotel was really quite quiet, Spanish guests took up at least 80% of the people in the hotel at the time. There were two other British families we knew of. The entertainment was really bad.. Karaoke on Mondays was all Spanish songs, 3 days of the week they'd just do the mini disco and then just have music on and no other entertainment. A couple of nights they had dancers which was good but nothing new if you've been to hotels in Spain before. We had no problems with the hotel at all, we had an amazing holiday overall, was just very average. Drinks in pool bar are cheap 2.60 euros for a beer 2 euros for sangria. Entertainment during the day was non existent. There was a schedule shown which had activities like cocktail games at a certain time and aqua gym and water polo. These were supposed to be everyday but we only saw water polo once and aqua gym once and none of the other activities which were supposed to be on. Portaventura, Aquapolis and the Barcelona excursions were fantastic. Highly recommended:)
