These apartments are idealy placed away from the town centre and the noise of the bars. If you are after a party-all-night-with-the-lads atmoaphere this probably isn't for you. The rooms are basic but have everything you need and most have really good views.
The walk from the town centre will involve walking up hill on your way back but it is not a huge issue. Maybe if you have kids in a buggy it wouldn't be ideal but it's not Everest. And of course during the day if you want the beach it is right there----- and the bus stop is round the corner if you are heading out.
The restaurant downstairs has a nice little bar with fantastic staff. They do food and drinks at good prices. There is also a small supermarket next door which will have everything you need.

this was a value for money aparthotel, it was very clean and the service was very good; the staff both friendly and helpful
there were only 2 downsides; the sunbeds were non adjustable and uncomfortable, thats not a major worry. The other was totally out of the hotels control which was a monstrosity of a newer apartment block which blocked the great view of the sea
Salou itself is a very nice resort with lots of varied things to do, great walks and bars and restaurants. Zeppelins is a great rock music venue but only weekends and very late except Sundays; Olivers is a great place to eat; doesn't need Martin to persuade you to go in, just look at the menu; full of favourites, mind you Martin is a great host too
The coastal paths have very scenic views too especially the sunsets.

Would go back, would recommend

I booked a one bed apartment & a two bed apartment earlier this month. Party travelling was two adults plus 3 year old for the 2 bed apt and grandparents for the one bed. Our apt was as described in earlier posts, really good size but old fashioned which we genuinely didn't mind. What really bugged us was the noise from the hotel across the road - crazy loud even with the windows/doors closed & the shutters down - this went on till 12 every night. Not great with a 3 year old.

Grandparent's one bed apt (which was actually a studio) was recently decorated & was really nice. Had great views of the sea & because of where the room was situated didn't get any of the noise from the nearby hotel.

Pros:- Great location. Two min walk to small sheltered beaches. Not in the middle of the town centre.
Cons: Staff on reception are not exactly friendly. Very noisy apt (depending on which side of the building u get). No cleaning service at all - no towel or bedding changed. No collection of rubbish etc..

extremely well located, close enough to salou without being near the madness, beach a 5 minute walk, public transport on your door step. Kids pool and adult pool, bistrow next to them serving decent food, and shop selling everything u need.
We went half board so we never had to pay the arrival deposit nor for air con (a must) which costs 8 euro per day. Breakfast and dinner is basic (our only complaint really)
Room was modern and cleaned daily with new towels (no toilet rolls supplied)
Staff were pleasant and helpfull. (Small tips go a long way to getting a better service)
Its not the Ritz nor did we budget for 5 star, however we could not fault our stay.
Reus airport 20 minutes costing 30 euros.
