Travelled DIY in Sept. Ryanair flights to Reus and the Airport shuttle bus to the Resort which stopped just at the end of the road.
Flight was delayed and as is always the way the quality of the flight was poor as was the conduct of those travelling. Hotel was booked through Travel Republic and was £52 a night half board. Check in was good less then 2 mins. Room quality was above average, nice balconies, TV, bathroom ok. Pool area was very good with plenty of beds,chairs etc. Nice play area for kids as well as crazy golf which did need tidying up a little. Bar service around the pool is very cheap if you want a drink during the day.
Breakfast was ok and the evening meal was much better.
Location is ten mins from beach and pretty much on the doorstep of the bars and restaurants.

Salou itself is ok it does not have the tacky feel of benidorm and there is enough to do for a week. I would definately return to Salou and would stay in the same hotel

Second time we have stayed at this hotel & enjoyed it as much as the first. The staff are friendly and polite, rooms are a little dated but very clean, pool area spotless & plenty of sunbeds. We stayed half-board & food was very good with plenty of choice. The entertainment mainly caters for the Spanish guests (probably because the majority of guests are Spanish) but there are plenty of bars near the hotel and the Marinada apartments across the road have English entertainment every night. Would happily return.

Good Value for money, but, the hotel needs some refurbishing at least in the room I had. Floor tiles were cracked. The shower is not so comfortable since it is fixed to the wall and does not move at all. This kept me from risning my buttocks. Only one english tv station. Nice entertanment but very noisy and this kept me from sleeping until 1 am nearly every day.

I booked this hotel after reading the reviews.
I arrived early and my room wasn't ready. so i had to wait about an hour and they offered me lunch. They also upgrated me from B&B to Full board with no extra charges for the WHOLE week. It was so worth it. The food was great and plentiful and I swear I put on a stone a day. The service was great in the restarurant and the staff friendly. All the staff in the bar, reception and cleaners were friendly.
I have to admit the organised entertainment wasn't that great. I played Bingo but English was always the last language used. However, I now know Spanish numbers.. The best entertainment was the Flamenco dancers who were riveting.
My room was cleaned every day and she was quick and efficient.. I wanted to take her home with me. Negative about he room was the walls and floor are too thin and you can hear everything.
The pool area was nice with enough lounges, chairs etc. however the mini golf needs to be overhauled. the rest of the entertaiment activities my son found totally absorbing as my pocket will attest to .
The hotel is well situated for what Salou has to offer which in my view is very downmarket.
