We went to hotel Caspel for 3 days around halloween to go to the Universal Park. For what we paid it was great (thats the important part) In terms of value for money there can be no complaints, rooms were ok, lady at the bar was lovely, food was decent. However, I wouldn't want to take a family, for our purposes it was brilliant and cost very little.
Staff speak little english but tried their best . . . thats all you can ask!

In terms of food there was salad, pasta, veg, two types of meat, fish, fruit, dessert. Not amazing but definitley not bad!

I just don't understand what people expect for £15 pnpp, with food! (indoor pool was not great)

We´ve booked double bed room, but the receptionist said to us, that there was some computer problem and she couldn´t see our full booking before and that there was only twin bed left.
We didn´t want to do any problems, so we took it. The room was nothing like on the picture. I think that room serves only for the staff or what. It was very small and really old-fashioned. When we went to eat the dinner (because it was in the price of the room) the lady who was standing at the door came to our table and said to us, that we can´t eat the dinner without paying. She wanted some card from us, which says, that we´d paid for the dinner.When we said that nobody gave us the card, she was looking at us like we are trying to steal the food or what. That she went to the reception to ask a woman, if we´ve really paid.
And the food...wasn´t good at all. And I am sure, that it wasn´t only our opinion, because i heart also other people. They put a tuna really everywhere. I like tuna very much, but really, it was everywhere...spread tuna, tuna souce for fish, tuna souce for meat, vegetables seasoned with sliced ​​tuna...

this hotel is ok for just sleeping in beds were made most days but if you were in your room when maid came round she never came back to clean or even change towels...cleaning of rooms leaves a lot to be desired....fridge was filthy ...on top of fridge was tv which mustn't have seen a duster since last year.... sockets coming out of walls very dangerous one of our party went in one night and plugged something in and blew the electricity on the whole floor ...beds dodgy and furniture in need of updating....ok maybe for a group of lads or girls who don't care too much about a place...dungeon like indoor swimming pool was like being in the underground car park...showers and changing areas down there need a good cleaning and updating

hotel not inviting food cold and very sparse .breakfast and evening meal .i reaheated meals in micro .house hold toaster.linen changed but cleaners forgot to mop floors.light bulbs reamoved from hall way.would not ever stay at this hotel if it was for free.
