just back from this terrible place. bathroom filthy.never seen cleaner the whole time we were there.we were told we had to buy our own refuse bags. the towels were frayed and not very white. would not recommend it for kids as the noise from the hotel across the road was very loud and went on till twelve.the only good thing for us was sinattras next door. lovely food and very nice staff. and the irish couple on the next balcony. if was not for them our holiday would have been the worst ever. they were great company.

Just got back and although we love Salou we were very disapointed with Salou Pacific, We booked a double & got twin beds, our room was grubby the bathroom tiles were cracked and in need of a good scrub, behind the sink and toilet hadn't seen a cleaner in a very long while. We were told the balconies had either a pool or sea view well all we saw were the balconies of the block opposite it was that close we could hear their conversations. I wish I had read reviews beforehand because We would have booked somewhere else.
Just read Mary M's review and wonder if we stayed at the same place because she states she had a sea view, all I can say is she must have been on the roof with a telescope.
Obviously some people enjoyed the beds because we could hear the couple above.......

5 of us stayed in 3 rooms here for one night in September 2011 and the rooms were the worst we have ever stayed in. There were bare electric wires hanging out of sockets, a broken T.V that the security guard try to fix but couldn't. The whole room needed decorating, the bathroom was filthy with rubbish hidden behind the W.C. When the cooker was turned on the electric 'tripped' and left us in total darkness. I don't think any cleaners come into the rooms because we were told to take any rubbish down with us and put it in the bins! All 3 rooms were the same. During the night it sounded like people were getting beaten up and dragged down the corridor. One of our party was so scared that she slept with her money and passport in her bed in case she had to run in the night! When we complained in the morning we were told that it's more a place for students and they aren't so fussy??? surely if they are charging £80 per night for a room it should be liveable.

I had booked this apartment block and then read some of the reviews. I then tried to cancel my booking as some of the reviews were hirendous, Firstly this is a self catering apartment not a hotel, i found my apartment very clean and we had a fabulous balcony over looking the sea. You had all the essentials to keep the place clean exp mop bucket brush. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful and anything we needed they sorted for us. music from the hotel next door was loud until about 12 each night but we actually went into their complex and joined in the nightly entertainment. Y children are aged 9 and 10 so the entertainment next door really suited them. Pool area was fine and was kept clean neat and tidy. Overall i had no complaints with this hotel and would most certainly stay here again. Great location
