Booked through Easy-Jet for a long weekend close to Malaga. The apartments all comfortably accommodate 5 people (1 on a chair bed in lounge). Not the cheapest option for a couple out of season, but still about the same price as a modest hotel in central Malaga. Opted for a 'penthouse' apartment on the 2nd floor which comes with a large roof terrace with patio furniture (incl 6 sunbeds) and a shady pergola - not really used in early December, but great for photos! (£60 per night but increases in mid/high season).
Apartments overlook a small development of approx 6 houses (all seem to be permanent Spanish residents) so there could be a little noise from children, although less than you would get from tourists I suspect. The apartments are located at the end of a road with electronically controlled access gates (entry device provided) so no passing traffic. Each apartment has a reserved parking bay in the underground garage - a car is a necessity. but stick to a compact as it is easier to park and manoeuvre.
The apartments are a very good size, with two good bedrooms, digital safe, good quality furniture, air con, bathroom with bath & shower, lounge with TV (alas CNN the only English speaking channel, but plenty of Spanish football) and DVD player which also plays CDs. The kitchen is very well equipped with full size fridge freezer, hob, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle and all the crockery, cutlery and glasses you should need. The dishwasher in the kitchen and washing machine on a small covered patio off the kitchen are an unexpected bonus. Should be ideal for a family with children.
There is a small pool for exclusive use of the 12 apartments and each apartment has a large balcony or terrace with furniture and sea view (not sure about the ground floor apartments though). Both bedrooms and lounge have direct access to the terrace and all windows have security blinds.
Highly recommended if you are planning on holidaying in this area.
