I actually feel sorry for the reception staff who were really friendly and helpful, for having to work in this place. I seriously think it is on the point of falling down!. This is evidenced by the huge subsidence cracks on the terrace and the balconies that slope alarmingly (we spoke to some other residents who - like us - were afraid to venture out onto their balconies). It is advertised as having a mini bar in every room (ours had none) and a hair dryer (you have to borrow one from reception) and a safe (this costs extra to use). Our bidet flooded, on two occasions our room wasn't replenished with towels or toilet rolls and there were no clothes hangers so we had to beg for more from one of the cleaners.
The room was shabby and the twin beds (not double as requested) were hard and lumpy. Also there were only 2 tiny lifts for the whole hotel so a lot of time was spent in waiting for one of them. We only had Bed & Breakfast - thank goodness! This was barely edible and the coffee was a disgrace to the name.
Finally, I think that it is apalling that they don't make clear the location of the hotel. It is situated at the top of a VERY steep hill. I am a reasonably fit individual and even I struggled to make a twice daily trip up this precipice. Seriously, if you are elderly or infirm, then you should expect to add the cost of daily taxis to your budget as you will definitely not be able to negotiate this incline.
