“A week to relax”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 January 2012

We did stay a week in this hotel during the month of November 2011
The greatest strength of this hotel is its location... right between the mainstreet and the marvelleous promenade of Benalmadena, where can start a walk to Torremollinos, to Benalmadena Pueblo or even further! It has been designed is such a wonderfull way that it is a joy to walk on it daily. Terraces invite you for a drink or a bite, small shops give you some distraction or sell suntanlotion if forgotten, the view is gorgeous, and you make your walk as long as you prefer... A MUST !
It is obviously an older hotel that has seen a lot of adaptions to stay modern.
The whole hotel is very clean, the room are very spacious. Ours was even superspacious... two double beds in one room and more then enough place to move around. All rooms have a balcony with more or less view to the sea, an airconditioner, a safedepositbox, lots of cupboard space, etc.
The equipment of the room was also very complete, maybe some more attention to the shower facility would be a recommendation, but certainly no negativ comment.
The entrace needs upgrading, as well as this complete store... bar, salon... very oldfashionned and worn out.
The personel was always very friendly and helpful. The meals were good, above average, nothing super-special but correct and always with a lot of different choices. Nevertheless, we would have like some more typical spanish food instead of the adapted "nordies" cuisine...;-)
but we did not complain.
We would most certainly return to this hotel for a spring or autumn breakout week.

Room Tip: Take the rooms at the oldest building in front of the sea if you prefer the view those at the back...

“More than 4 stars hotel - unforgettable vacation”

Although we arrived after midnight (2 o'clock a.m.) at the hotel,we were warmly welcomed by the reception staff and received 2 nice furnished rooms.
The hotel is great lodged, near sea and all needed surroundings. It is very clean ,the rooms are large enough and looks to be recently repainted. The reception staff were very kindly with everything we asked for.For example in one room the mini fridge was missing and another one was immediately replaced. On the other hand we were provided with the Best Customer Card and consequently we got a free of charge safe and parking. The hotel has a wonderfull garden, plenty of flowers. There are 3 swimmingpools, very clean with enough sunbeds free of charge. From the garden directly thru the door you get straight on the walking cliff of the beach. The walking cliff is one of the nicest in the area. Also the beach with thin sand is large and full of sunbeds (chargeables) and parasols.
The restaurant of the hotel (buffet style) is very clean and has agreat variety of fresh foods (including vegetables and fruits) and kindly waiters.
Every evening we enjoyed a different entertainment programme organized by the hotel people..
The surroundings of the hotel are quite nice: a lot of bars, at some 200 m there is the Marine Port, in the midle of the town there is a botany + zoo garden.
Just in front of the hotel there is bus station and by bus we traveled to Mijas (a gorgeous small village),to Malaga and of course to famous Marbella..
Since we enjoyed so much our vacation in Triton hotel from Benalmadena, next vacation we shall go again to Benalmadena and to visit,by all means , Granada (both town and Alhambra palace) and Gibraltar.

I stayed here end Oct this year, first impressions where good, met by friendly reception staff and shown to my room, which was huge for one person two double beds, table chairs ,large balcony, and a bathroom with everything u need except shower was not that powerfull.Cleanliness of good standard.
Breakfast was good large choice cereals, juices, breads, cakes, fruit, fresh pancakes and omlettes made as required and plenty of hot choices so there was something for everyone.
Location great straight on the sea front if you use the back entrance or you can catch the bus from the front entrance which takes you to the nearby towns.
I will defernately go back.

“hotel great but staff very unhelpful”

hotel was great . rooms very clean. credit to the maids. dining room staff need lessons in manners. food just acceptable. we went half board. great location veiw from our room fabulous. entertainment poor. one week was enough. on the good side the hotel was very quiet no one walking around rooms in high heals . no noise from other rooms . only down side they allow smoking on balconies if like us you get a cigar smoker up at 7am very unpleasant you have to keep the patio doors closed.

Room Tip: choose a room with even number.
