We stayed here for one night on Christmas day. Once we arrived we suddenly felt welcome into this beautiful lobby. The receptionist was helpful and welcoming and showed us around the hotel and our room (which was lovely) the downstairs spa/pool area was very relaxing and a nice amenitie to waste a few hours. The rooms were huge and clean and included so many free things. We had christmas dinner in the lovely dining room which had lovel views of the med :) I recommend highy the best hotel on the del sol!

The vistas alone are very soul satisfying, the Spa is the icing on the cake. Beautiful Hotel, 5* cleanliness, very helpful & accomodating staff. The rooms are exceptional. Arrived to a fab New Years Day brunch, although check in was late due to the prior evenings celebrations-we were made to feel valued and welcome.
There was no bar service as such this time of year, late evening anyway- this was my only problem. We did wait longer than we hoped for our drinks. However, this was our only issue, I am sure management are working on this, they seemed very proffesional.
With no hesitation can recommend, will return!

I stayed here in January with my 10 year old son.
The property has been recently rebuilt, I think it was formallyjust the Aleysa Hotel. I found that some taxi drivers were unaware of the place, the airport taxi was insisting on bringing us to Malaga (there is another vincci hotel there) before I corrected him.
The site is small and possibly overdeveloped. This led to the sun disappearing off the balcony early (we were in the front block, furthest from the ocean).
That brings me to my first criticism, unless you book a superior room the balcony is essentially a public space. The external corridor serving the rooms passes between the balcony and each room. This results in people passing the room window so you will probably want to keep the curtains closed, hardly ideal on the Costa del Sol!
My second criticism is of the bar. It is located in the hotel lobby and is not permanently staffed (this is understandable given that the hotel is small.... only 38 rooms, I think). I found it difficult to get a drink at times. I saw no other customers there. This might not be so important to many guests but I always like a good bar scene so that I can wait for my wife getting ready to go out without staying in the room or leaving the building.
However, service was otherwise generally very good and very friendly.

The food was superb. We had breakfast each morning from a wonderful selection and dinner one evening. The views over the Med from the restaurant were wonderful.
The pool looked nice but we didn't use it because it was too cold (January, remember), it was quite small (but probably adequate for the hotel size) and shallow. There is a hot tub alongside.
There is a stair and lift providing direct access to the Paseo Maritimo below.
The bathroom was very well laid out with twin basins, a stand-alone bath and a seperate walk-in shower with both an overhead outlet and a hand-held shower head. Very well stocked with toiletries.
Check in and out was efficient and friendly, although one lady became a little aggressive when I mildly criticised the balcony arrangement (after being asked how my stay was),she attempted to convince me that the open balcony arrangement was somehow fashionable!
Despite my little criticisms, this is undoubtedly a very fine hotel and I would not hesitate to recommend it, I have already done so in fact. I suggest you look for a superior room for the private (normal) balcony.

The hotel is amazing, good views, nice decor, central, easy to find, very close to the beach. The service was superb, staff were friendly and very polite. On arrival we were greeted warmly, they even offered to park our car in their own car park free of charge. Reception made some good suggestions of where to go to eat. The room was fabulous, very clean, spacious. Although the amenities were not replenished daily, we had enough to use for 2 days. Of course, we could have requested some, had we needed. The spa was very good. The head massage is worth trying. On saturday evening, we ate at the restaurant in-house. The service was extremely slow because there was only 3 servers and many tables to wait. The continental breakfast was a bit disappointing, could be improved to include fruit and a variety of pastries. It just came with 2 croissants and 2 doughnuts, tea and coffee for a breakfast for 2. Otherwise the break was nice, felt like a great treat. Would definitely recommend going to this hotel.
