Arrived to find that reception was pleasant and efficient e2 per day for a safety box and a e10 deposit which was returned on leaving, asked for a high floor and was put on floor 6 overlooking the pool had a good view of the sea, the room had plenty of room to move around decent cupboard space, a TV which had the usual Sky News only, for the Brits. The housekeeping was excellent clean towels every day and plenty of hot water. We where half board the breakfast was good, plenty of choice, full english and continental on offer and the coffee machine actually turned out decent coffee, the evening meal had meat, fish choice in the usual various sauces, potatoes from chipped to mash and a salad bar, fresh fruit, cake, rice pudding, yoghurt, ice cream, now there was nothing wrong with the food and remembering its a 2 star it was a reasonable choice but it did'nt quite float my boat nothing spectacular but we didnt go hungry we tended after a couple of days to vary the meals by eating at various cafe's and filled in at tea time. The hotel is well situated, on the promenade side is the bus stop to 24hr square and the marina on to Torremolinos and Malaga, around the corner from the Hotel the bus stop up to Arroyo and Mijas, and across the road by the chemist the bus to Fuengirola and we found that the bus to Marbella stops at this stop also.
The Hotel does cater mainly for its Spanish guests so the entertainment
is geared towards this we found them polite but if your not up for "chatter"
go in at 7pm for your meal as they tend to eat much later. In all I would say that this is a decent clean budget hotel and I would use it again.
