We stayed in a junior Suite which had a lounge area at mezzanine level and lovely view over tops of pine forest to the sea and Punta Umbria beyond. Very comfortable super kingsize bed. The reception staff were excellent. Very efficient and accomodatiing.
Houskeeping staff were also excellent.
The only negatives were; -
1/ It was uncomfortably cold in the main lounge area , snack bar and restaurant. You needed to wear your outdoor clothing, inside, to be warm enough and it was too cold to sit and relax in the lounge , which was a shame as the lounge area was very comfortable and pleasant. It would have been perfect if the fireplace actually had a fire in it ! Failing that a few candles would have cheered things up a little.
2/The other disappointment was breakfast. On the first day (Sunday) it was a buffet with a good selection of hot and cold dishes and the whole of the restaurant available for seating. For the rest of our stay, only half the restaurant seating was available, which resulted in everyone being cramped together and occasionally having to wait for tables to be vacated and reset. The buffet was also reduced and did not include a hot option.
People actually lingered around the toaster to keep warm !
We did get the room at a very good rate and it was excellent value for money, but I would rather have paid a little more and had a warm lounge and a hot breakfast.
However, overall , the hotel was very good and I would stay again.
