Our family was need of a hotel that could accommodate our family of six and two cats that could have lasted up to three months during a recent PCS. I sent many inquiries, and Hotel Boehler seemed to meet our needs in every way. Mrs. Boehler was quick to respond to my many questions in emails prior to our arrival. Upon arrival at 10 a.m, our rooms were ready for us and exceeded our expectations! They were recently updated, clean, spacious, and had ample storage for all of the things we brought with us ~ this was a surprise to us because typically affordable lodging in Europe has not been as large as this). We were on the 5th floor with a small hallway that was private and separated (but still connected to) our two rooms. The entire staff provided excellent service! The breakfast staff reserved a table for our large family every morning. The night audit served us in the lounge and provided us with snacks when we brought down family games to play and quizzed our teenager on the language and told him about the local culture. Several channels on the television were in English, and Mr. Boehler showed us how to block the questionable stations. There is a room to enjoy complimentary tea or coffee in the afternoon and to regroup or do homework outside of the hotel room. The pool was great for the kids to work out some energy! The location was superb! Only about a 7 minute drive from Panzer where we did most of our check in and indoc and daily trips to the housing office. There is a school bus available to transfer children to Panzer Elementary, Panzer Middle School, and Patch High School - if you know this is the district you want to live in, this is a great choice. We felt like we were immersed in Germany, close to so many dining choices (where most people spoke English), close walk to the train, and local parks for the kids. Moving is always difficult, but Hotel Boehler made one of the most difficult aspects truly a joy!

I have stayed at this hotel a couple of year ago. It's a family style hotel and they give you nice and kind services. The room is not so huge or fully furnished, but enough fro short stay.

Many positives points, clean, quite, well placed and a nice service.
I have not visited other rooms but mine was not that large and sanitary installation if good enough was really too small.
Some stuff and the towels would need to be refreshed.

The decoration is OK but don't look for any charm.

4 stars is too much paid, not for the service but for the missing charm and space needed to make the difference to a 4 stars.

I have stayed at this hotel several times during the last 7 years. If you are visiting this area for any of the following: IBM, HP, Mercedes Benz, Phillips, etc., and if you are looking for convinience this is the place for you. This hotel has been recently renovated and although some of the rooms are very small, the friendly staff, location, etc., compensate for some of that. It is at the heart of the city of Boeblingen and is walking distance from some of the restaurants in the area. It is managed by a family and they are very friendly. The morning breakfast is excellent and all in all a good place to stay in the area.
