This is a very nice hotel with a friendly owner and pleasant staff. Our room was large with kitchen facilities. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is in the city center, away from the train station, and convenient to the restored area of this old but pleasant eastern German town.

On the street outside the hotel is a daytime market. Although our room fronted on the street, we were not disturbed by the presence of the market. We found it to be a nice place to wander and meet the local people.

The breakfast buffet was expansive and tasty. Indeed, it ranked among the best we have had. We had dinner one night in the restaurant and found the meal to be very nice.

We arrived at this hotel without a reservation because of a refusal of the Sorat Hotel to honor a confirmed reservation. The owner of the Bon Apart could not have been more accommodating. Obviously, we were pleased with the securing the accommodation; however, the quality of our stay in the hotel and the quality of the facilities exceeded our expectations.
