We stayed the longest 5 nights of my life at this place. As stated in the other review, the rooms are hot, dark and smell terrible. The also stated refridgerator is honestly just the tip of the iceberg. I wouldn't reccomend any American to stay unless they are fluent in french. There is no english spoken there, and if it is understood they keep it to themselves. We did not encounter the British maid, although if we had maybe it would have made our stay more enjoyable. The one bright spot is the pool and the view on the property, they are both lovely, however, you can't spend the night outside. I have to mention the towels, not only were they old and stained, they were without hesitation the roughest, scratchiest towels I've ever felt, I honestly didn't know there were towels anywhere like this, you could have easily refinished furniture with them. The breakfast was fair at best, and I sat and watched every morning as the owner scoured thru the breadbaskets of the diners after they finished so she could serve the leftovers to the next diners. Very appetizing. All in all I'd reccomend you sleep in your car, at least you could roll down the window or turn on the airconditioner.
