We had been travelling from Lake Garda with Just Go Travel. The accommodation and food on the outward journey and in Lake Garda was awful. We stayed in the Mercure Forbach on the way home. It was like an oasis in the desert. It was lovely. The breakfast was superb and the dining area very nicely appointed. We would recommend it highly and definitely would use it again.

Very good position of the hotel (very quiet area, forest, 2 minutes from higway).
But - I don´t like empty reception and bar (no service there for a long time) on Sunday afternoon!! Maybee you need a bells...
Good for hardly working people or for a weekend.

I was most disappointed with this Mecure. The bedroom we were given was in need of updating and deep cleaning. Beds were clean and comfortable but furnishings left a lot to be desired. Skirting boards needed a good clean too.
Breakfast was a disaster !! When we arrived at 7.30am, there were a few cereals, no bread rolls, no ham, no cheese apart from a few scraps and the staff stood by and did nothing. By the time we left the hotel, the buffet had been completely restocked but too late for us. Our stay was so disappointing that we intend to cancel a booking for another Acore hotel on our return journey for fear we could have the same experience.
I do not like to give such negative reviews but the only thing I would recommend about this hotel would be the convenient position.
