We stayed here while attending a family wedding nearby. We were part of a large group of mixed ages. We ate dinner at the hotel on two occasions and were impressed with the food. Breakfast is buffet style with lots of choice and the coffee is fantastic. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful even allowing one of our party to use the computer in the office to check the internet to make a change to his flight home. The rooms are very clean as is all of the hotel. It is not in the centre of the town but is beside a shopping centre whick was very handy. This hotel is not 4 star but we thought it deserved more than it's 2 star status. They also have a number of adjoining rooms which is perfect for families with older children. Would recommend!

We spent a long weekend at the Ibis Pontivy over the May bank holiday. It is a relatively basic hotel in an unglamorous location - tucked away at the back of a supermarket car park, opposite a main road.

But: it is a fantastic value base for exploring this part of Brittany. For 64 Euros per night we were able to sleep a family of four in a clean, modern, en suite room (the kids on the floor in their travel cot and inflatable bed). The bathroom had a powerful shower and we had good value breakfasts in the mornings.

We also ate lunch at the restaurant on our first day, which was fine, and very welcoming for children.

I would not recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay somewhere idyllic in the rolling countryside of Brittany. But I would strongly recommend this hotel for those looking for a clean, functional, excellent value base for exploring the region. This hotel offers tremendous value for money.

This little hotel was very peaceful. The rooms are surprisingly large and adequate for two people. The bedding was lovely fresh and clean , the TV worked and the new bathroom was great!! Would recommend this hotel if looking for a hotel in the Pontivy /Loudeac area - but a bit out of the way really. Though for a peaceful nights sleep we would find it hard to beat! Even if it is next to a busy road its far enough away for no noise to be heard at all!!

Breakfast looked good and the grill house attached- but we did not eat there - would recommend.
