We had a very comfortable stay - good shower but compact bathroom. Bed and room fine and TV worked. We only stayed for one night because we were only on a short trip. Well placed outside Pontivy and next to a good supermarket.

We read reviews on Tripadvisor and found them pretty much spot on. Yes, it's near a major road - but you didn't notice. Yes, it's at the back of a shopping centre - not a problem (in fact, very useful for supplies). And yes, no matter what we did to the aircon, it remained at boiling point!

Pontivy is located centrally in Brittany - good for exploring the regions. The hotel was clean, quiet, with unobtrusive but friendly staff. The room size and layout was good, especially the space in the shower room (which is a pod installation).

Breakfast in the Court Paille restaurant was serve yourself excellence, we also used it for one evening meal which was also very good. We didn't eat dinner there again because there was a lack of choice for vegetarians but found two excellent resatuarants in Pontivy (one opposite the chateau and one fronting the river).

It's a shame we paid for wifi before we noticed the free offer.

We stayed here while attending a family wedding nearby. We were part of a large group of mixed ages. We ate dinner at the hotel on two occasions and were impressed with the food. Breakfast is buffet style with lots of choice and the coffee is fantastic. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful even allowing one of our party to use the computer in the office to check the internet to make a change to his flight home. The rooms are very clean as is all of the hotel. It is not in the centre of the town but is beside a shopping centre whick was very handy. This hotel is not 4 star but we thought it deserved more than it's 2 star status. They also have a number of adjoining rooms which is perfect for families with older children. Would recommend!
