This hotel is excellant, very staff helpful, food excellant.

If you try to communicate in a little french they will met you half way.

Great base location to see other places within the region, Strasbourg etc, take the train its a lot easier than by car, 26 mins from Molesheim and a free car park.

This hotel took my money wrongfully because they claimed they did not know I cancelled.

I originally booked this hotel through logis de france website who confirmed the booking with an email. Their email said to contact the hotel to give them my credit card number to complete the confirmation. So I emailed them (this hotel did not speak english unfortunately) and they emailed me back saying that they did not have a booking for me, but I could book direct. This I did, but needed to cancel a week before my wife and I were due to stay.

I cancelled through the logis-de-france service who sent me a confirmation of cancellation reference number. I then received an email saying that they had taken €134 because I had not shown up. When I complained, in my best french, which is not excellent, they told me that I had booked direct with them, and therefore needed to cancel direct with them.

I am disgusted that they treat customers like this especially when they are connected to Logis-de.France. They didnt just take the room rate, they took the cost of one night plus two evening meals and breakfasts - disgusting.

I stopped in this hotel on the way back from Molsheim. Spacious and clean room en-suite. Had a very good evening meal outside on the terrace. Roast duck, couple of glasses of bordeaux, lovely jubbly. Polite and understanding waitress (my french is very limited, and in this region their secong language is german). Buffet style breakfast, eat as much as you want. Total cost about £65, which i thought worth every penny. Highly recommended.
