“Amazing Resort”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 February 2012

My wife, daughter and I just returned from an eight night vacation at Tucker’s Point and to put it mildly, we were completely blown away. The resort is truly spectacular in every sense. We have stayed at many different hotels in Bermuda and throughout the Caribbean (e.g. Four Seasons Nevis, Four Seasons Great Exuma, etc.), but we have never found an island resort anywhere that is even remotely close to Tucker’s Point in terms of the accommodations, service, food, golf options, spa, etc.

We stayed in a one bedroom villa that had spectacular views of Castle Harbor, and the room’s furnishings were of the highest quality and refinement. This holds true throughout the entire resort. Attention was paid to every small detail in the design and furnishing of the property, and only the best materials were used. It is clear that Tucker’s Point is positioning itself to be the only viable option for those seeking complete luxury and elegance in Bermuda.

The staff is equally remarkable. All of the resort’s employees clearly take enormous pride in their jobs and went the extra mile to make sure that we thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of our vacation.

Tucker’s Point golf course is a great layout, and the Mid Ocean Club, which is adjacent to the resort, is also a wonderful course (although it has a lot of blind shots). When I played Mid Ocean, the Tucker’s Point pro shop had my clubs transferred over before my tee time and one of the hotel’s doormen drove me over to the course in a golf cart since the courses are in such close proximity. Notably, the merchandise in the Tucker’s Point pro shop is of the highest quality.

My wife and daughter informed me that the spa was hands down the nicest spa that either of them had ever been to. And that’s saying a lot because they are both well-traveled spa aficionados.

Finally, the food and service in all of the resort’s dining venues are excellent. Unfortunately the beach club was closed so we didn’t have a chance to try its restaurant, but my guess is that it is equally remarkable.

We had an unforgettable experience at Tucker’s Point and are greatly looking forward to returning to the resort in the near future.

“Absolutely divine.”

My husband and I took a short romantic getaway to Tucker's Point and had a fantastic time. The service was excellent, several staff members went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything our hearts desired. We stayed in a decadent poolside suite with a private cabana and couldn't decide which we enjoyed more; staring at the blue skies and water outside or enjoying the luxurious accommodations indoors!
Room service was wonderful, the food was still hot and delicious (which seems to be hard to find with in-room dining). The wait staff was prompt and and very friendly. When I had forgotten to pack a small personal item, the concierge was very accommodating and located one for me quickly.
The bathroom was fantastic and so luxurious, we each took long soaks in the pristine claw-foot tub. The toiletries provided were over-sized and of excellent quality...and smelled delicious!
The only negative I could possibly say is that the housekeeper knocked on our door in the morning, even though we had our 'Do Not Disturb' light on. But that was just one tiny blip in an otherwise stellar stay. We are so excited to be planning a return trip for this fall and hope to spend even more time at this amazing resort.

“New Year's celebration”

Our annual couples retreat took place this year at Rosewood Tucker's Point, Bermuda. My wife and I had stayed at the property 25 years ago when it was a Marriott property. The completely refurbished hotel has approximately 80 rooms, several swimming pools, lovely common areas, high quality casual and fine dining and a challenging 18 hole test for golfers. Just remember, this is Bermuda so those harboring any expectations of having a frugal vacation should consider some other venue. Yes, it's expensive, from the taxi fares to the hotel dining rooms but all that is somehow mitigated by the very friendly, helpful and courteous Bermudian. The Rosewood Tucker's Point management and staff make the experience well worth it!

Room Tip: With only 80 rooms, and none facing a parking lot, this shouldn't be a concern!

“Great time durring the off season!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 January 2012

We were about to give up hope on finding a speedboat right after new years, however this place was super friendly and was able to accommodate us.

This boat company completely exceeded our expectations for a couple of reasons. First, it was one of the only places on the island open during the "off season." I was really looking forward to getting out on a boat and I'm so glad that this place was open and able to accommodate us. Second, the staff was completely knowledgeable and friendly. They offered information about the area we'd be boating in and highlighted items of interest. They we're happy to answer our questions and gave us a great overview of Castle Bay. Likewise, although the rental price was slightly higher than a lot of other places on the island, they included amenities like snorkel gear, water, cookies, and a cooler, which made the extra cost completely worth it. I would come back to this place in a heart beat - they really were great!

“Fantastic Stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 December 2011

We went in December, which is the perfect time to go to Bermuda, as its not tourist season. the island is very calm and peaceful and thats just the way I like it. I was told that in December, it averages maybe 500 visitors a day, whereas in the peak season, it averages 10,000 visitors a day. WOW!! Tucker's Point was great! I read all the reviews in the past, and happy to say most of the issues are no longer there. The staff was extremely friendly, and helpful (sometimes overly so, but thats okay if you were there to be pampered), and always available. Everything about this hotel screams romantic getaway, so while children are allowed, please do not bring them!! I went with my GF and from the moment we drove on the premises, we werent allowed to do anything. doorman grabbed our bag, the checkin process was great, and our check in person (Sai) took us on a tour of the resort and escorted us around. We finally got to our Villa (upgraded due to AMX FHR) and we had ocean views. the spa was AMAZING - but a little expensive: 200 dollars for a swedish? - and I enjoyed relaxing by the pool all day. We were told the pool was heated to 82 degrees, which was not the case however, and they didnt have a hot tub - who doesnt have a hot tub? We also rented a boat from the water sport center (ask for Terry or Heidi) and spent the afternoon on the harbor. The door staff were great with giving tips on places to eat. I was a little disappointed with the concierge tho - i asked for help planning our 3 days, and they didnt help with the planning - only the recommendations. But the recommendations were too broad and no help on how long things would take and when to do what, etc. Overall, great place, and highly recommend it.

Room Tip: ask for a villa overlooking the ocean. very quite, and great views.
