My wife and I were both born and raised in Metro Vancouver. One of our daughters spent part of her honeymoon at River Run 12 years ago. Ever since, we have wanted to see what she was raving about. We finally tried staying at River Run for 1 night and we were very impressed.
This B&B is for people who crave the unusual when it comes to finding places to stay. Imagine sleeping on a houseboat built for 2 or how about staying in a beautifully restored fisherman's shack with a private balcony built OVER the river. We stayed in the Northwest Room and were more than pleased with our choice. It has a lovely living room with padded rockers, a separate bedroom with a queen-sized bed and a bathroom with a huge walk-in shower with 3 shower heads. We were greeted by Barbara and shown our accommodation which included a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, dishes, etc. + a half bottle of sherry, pop, chocolate bars, chips and 4 homemade cookies. A restfull night's sleep was followed by a delicious breakfast served in our room in 2 courses.
In short, you can't wrong. Will and Barbara are friendly and helpfull hosts, the rooms are beautiful and comfortable, the breakfast is excellent and the views change all day as wildlife and boats move up & down the river!!
