“Overlooking sea front, convenient for Athens city”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 February 2012

We've stayed here several times as it is close to family who live locally. Without exception we have enjoyed our stay (latest January 2012). The staff are courteous and helpful, the rooms good with excellent facilities, the restaurant very good as is the breakfast buffet. Convenient for central Athens, opposite tram stop, nearby bus stop, airport transfer coach stop nearby and taxi rank next door. Staff always willing to book radio taxi if you prefer. Nothing at all to complain about! Will certainly return on our next trip to Athens - we visit two or three times a year.

Room Tip: Rooms without sea view are quieter, but once the double glazed doors are closed and air con switched...

“Nice hotel on the beach”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 January 2012

The hotel is a bit far away from the centre (the tram stop is one minute walk) but very close to the beach. We stayed here in October - no swimming, I imagine it should be great in summer. Our double room was nice and had a kettle. Breakfast was ok. We paid 75 eur/night incl breakfast, which I thought was a good value.

We thank you for selecting our hotel and for your review. As you point out our hotel is not in the center of Athens. It is on the Athenian coast line just a fifteen minute car ride from downtown. We consider our location an advantage. We hope you felt the same way.
Once again, we appreciate your business and hope to see you again, soon.
Kind regards,

“Lovely hotel, would happily go again”

We stayed here for ten days at the Junior Suite with our 2-year-old son. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

LOCATION: Very good, close to tram/ bus stops and facing the sea. Not too far to centre of Athens. Nice, busy but safe neighbourhood. Our suite had a balcony with lovely views across the bay.

ROOM: Very nice bedroom & reception room. The bathroom was luxurious, with a whirlpool bath. Toiletries provided smelled very nice, good quality. The only drawbacks of the Junior Suite were (a) the TV is in the bedroom, so we couldn't watch TV in the evenings, when our son was asleep and we sat in the reception room, and (b) there was a locked door connecting our suite to the room next door, which meant that any smells (tobacco) or sounds (TV & enthusiastic lovemaking) produced from our neighbours next door were experienced vividly. Maybe management could insulate that door in future? The bed was a little hard, but fine.

BREAKFAST: Excellent choice and quality of breakfast. Cooked (European style, but also Greek pies, bougatsa, tasty omelettes, etc.) and muesli/ croissants etc. Freshly-squeezed juice. We loved the breakfast.

STAFF: Very helpful. They went out of their way to assist, and gladly brought up to our room the baby highchair when we wanted to feed our son in our room. They gave us transport advice, etc.

POOL: On the top floor, there is a small but perfectly-formed pool. During daylight hours it's lovely to swim underneath the glass roof. Seating area by the pool is also very elegant.

GYM: We didn't use the gym. It's quite small and my husband noticed one of the treadmills didn't work, but it seemed well maintained in general.

We would like to thank the management & staff for making our stay so pleasurable at what are difficult times for Greece. We hope others support this hotel also.

Room Tip: Higher floors have less noise from street. For people with kids: there is a great, huge playground...

“Great Location”

This was my second time I have stayed in this hotel in 2 years ... I absolutely love the location overlooking the bay. In short, the staff were ALWAYS helpful and courteous. The noise outside isnt that bad at all, if you want quiet, go to a deserted island... I love the hussle and bussle of Athens

Room Tip: pay a little extra and get the room with a view ... its well worth it

“NIce location, average hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 November 2011

I stayed here because it was near where i was doing some work in Glyfada. The location is nice, just overlooking the sea and near to quite a few shops and restaurants. The hotel is quite nice, but not stunning. There is a small restaurant on the ground floor which is good for breakfast but has limited range for dinner. The bar is quite pleasant and you can sit outside, although there is some traffic noise.

Staff are friendly and all speak English. Rooms are functional and OK; nothing special although if you go for a suite or a 'deluxe' room the rooms are better and worth paying for because they are much bigger than the standard rooms and have a sea view
