“A Home Away From Home”

Janet and Aris made our stay so fantastic, going out of their way to help with anything and everything. Janet was the most fantastic host - thank you so very much it was like staying with a friend. From late night pizza delivery to organizing last minute hair appointments for my mother in law who was about to see her family after many years and wanted to look her best even after a 22 hour flight! We stayed with two very young kids who loved being able to roam around the garden and splash in the pool. There was such a variety for breakfast, something for everyone, and all so beautiful and fresh, I wouldn't hesitate booking again.

Room Tip: We liked the garden room as it had its own access so the kids could come and go as they pleased into...

“Perfect spot to relax near Athens”

We (two couples) were collected by Janet from the airport and warmly welcomed with coffee, cookies, cherries & apricots to St Thomas B & B. It is only at very short drive to B & B so very convenient for stopovers or a few days R & R outside of Athens. Owners Janet & Aris are very friendly, helpful and hospitable eg willing to drive you to nearby Metro station which will get you to central Athens and suburbs. The large pool is offers a welcome respite, and breakfast poolside was delicious and relaxing. The local village with small restaurants, supermarket and the surprisingly interesting Vorres Museum is a pleasant 10 minute walk. Rooms clean, comfortable and quiet. Could happily have stayed longer.

Room Tip: As two couples who have been friends for over 30 years, we were very happy to share the Garden Suite...

Thank you so much Donovans and friends for the lovely review you wrote about us. It was so kind of you to take the time to do that - we really appreciate it. It really was a pleasure meeting you all and having you spend a short time in our home. Hopefully we will be able to meet once again in the not too distant future. Warmest wishes to you all.

“Much more than just a B & B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 August 2011

This is an excellent place for families to stay when visiting Athens, easily accessible to the city but wonderfully quiet and relaxing at the end of each day. Janet and Aris are extremely friendly, hospitable and so helpful as regards the best places to see. Throughout our 5 day holiday they were always available to take us to and from the underground station, the bus, the village - whatever we needed, and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Last, but certainly not least, their swimming pool is superb! Highly recommended.

“An excellent day-use B&B for an interval between flights”

During our travel to Lesvos we had a 9-hour interval between flights at Athens airport. Instead of suffering a too long stay at the busy airport of Athens, we chose to spend these hours at the lovely St. Thomas B&B. Janet, the charming owner, drove us from the airport to her B&B, and gave us a nice 2-room suite (we are a family of 4 adults). We enjoyed the wonderful swimming pool and the beautiful garden. Then we took a shower and got some sleep. Before the next flight, Janet drove us back to the airport. St. Thomas B&B is highly recommended!

“Great for an overnight stay near the airport”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 June 2011

My husband and I stayed at St Thomas Bed and Breakfast, Athens for one night before we flew back home after four and half weeks Greek Island hopping. We chose St Thomas as it was very close to Athens airport and as we were arriving late in the afternoon and leaving around lunch the next day, we did not want to stay in the centre of Athens. Janet the owner met us at the airport and drove us to her accommodation which is like a little English garden oasis set back off the road. There are 3 rooms to cater for one, two or three people and even a family. Our ample breakfast was taken out in the garden on the patio or you could have it under the shady trees if you wish. Also, there is a lovely swimming pool to cool you down in with sundeck lounges and seating if you just wanted to relax. The garden is a beautiful place to while away the time. We chose the Wisteria room and had a king size bed, TV, fridge, chairs and coffee table, divan, bathroom with toiletries and plenty of space to move around. Wi fi connection is available in the room also. There is a taverna next door but as it was a holiday, it was closed so Janet offered to drive us to the village taverna and pick us up when we had finished. Janet was on hand to answer our questions and if you needed a lift to the station, she would take you. Nothing was too much trouble. Instead of a taxi to the airport, Janet offered to take us there for a nominal fee. We highly recommend St Thomas Bed and Breakfast as the place to stay if you only have a short stopover in Athens.

Room Tip: Choose Wisteria
