The location of this hotel is excellent IF you want to be close to the bars and shops of Glyfada (which are great). If you plan to spend a lot of time around the centre of Athens, seeing sites, then it's not a convenient location.

The hotel itself is dirty and dated and the rooms smell musty and smokey. The worst part were the dead mosquitos squashed against the room's walls with dried blood still oozing out of them. The rooms were all smoking rooms - I was surprised to see a hotel still allowing smoking, this is 2010 after all. The bed was so hard that I had to sleep on top of pillows - the hardest bed I've ever experienced.
If you want to spend a long time in the room or are going for a romantic break I would advise you not to go here.

I was there on a Saturday and Sunday night and the pool area was booked out for weddings both days, meaning it wasn't available to use (one of the reasons I booked the hotel was because of the pool area).

Having said all that, Glyfada is an expensive area so for €50 per night this is your only option if you want something cheap.

TIP: Go to Balux House Project across the road - it's an amazing coffee shop with great sea views.

I stayed in this hotel because people recommended that I stay in Glyfada during the summer rather than Plaka. Turned out this was a great recommendation as Glyfada is the classier side of Athens.

In terms of convenience, this hotel was perfect. It was close to all the restaurants, shops (fashion and supermarket) and beach clubs. There is also a bus stop close by so you can take a bus straight to the Acropolis, which is about 45 mins away.

The rooms were pretty good. The space in the room was okay and the view from our balcony was very nice. The shower was small and hard to handle...but I've had worse.

In terms of customer service, this hotel was surely lacking. Anytime we asked reception for recommendations, they failed to answer our enquiries. We had to rely on pure luck to find good restaurants and proper transport. The staff was not friendly at all.

All in all, I would definitely stay in Glyfada again. As the hotel is relatively cheap and convenient, I may give it another go in the future...but only if i'm absolutely out of other options.

Well, the location of hotel is amazing, steps away from numerous shops, restaurants like Firday's AppleBee's etc. World Cuisine restaurants lounges-bars cafes, shops and beaches. Also the tram stop (Line 5 to Athnes center takes about an hour) and bus stop for airport (Bus line X 96-bus stop Asteria takes about 30-45 mins depends on the traffic) is only blocks away. However, the hotel itself is not as good as its location. Definitely not a 4 star. The hotel is generally tired, the rooms are not very neat, the room we stayed in stank due to moist, also the room was noisy due to high-way and clubs that are open till 6 a.m. etc. The pool is not the place to spend hours. If you are planning a relaxing beach vacation this is not the best choice, however if your aim is bar hopping or shopping this may be the place for you for couple of nights, and for that a rental car is strongly recommended(if you can manage to read the signs)

We enjoyed our stay very much. Found A/C not very effective & shower needs a curtain or door to keep water off floor. Nice balcony with sea & mountain view. Few blocks to downtown & many restaurants. Close to private beach. Nice pool. Only downside was so much litter & open dumptsters on side street beside hotel which is concealed by hedges. Still needs a cleanup. We found day manager, Gina extremely nice & also evening manager.
