It was the most pleasant surprise for us in the recent years of traveling all over the world to spend unforgettable vacations near Athens!
The case is this marvelous hotel in Lagonissi placed on a peninsula and giving the visitor the choice of 3 different kind of beaches, 2 sandy beaches, one with deep waters and one with shallow waters perfect for the kids, and also one beach with small white stones and crystal waters!!!!
All these combined with luxurious and stylish decorated rooms, a magnificent setting with 4 different restaurants with great food near the sea and really beautiful walking around made the perfect vacation place for our family.
And the most important the service was excellent and the staff was always willing to fulfill every desire!!!

For 150 euro per night it would be a perfect room but for 330 euro per night it is definitely not "value for money".
The hotel is very nice in a unique secluded location surrounded by sea and the staff is very kind. The beach is also nice but not the pool which has no view to the sea.
Kohylia polynesian restaurant is excellent.
The final draw is the charge of 11 euro for the parking. Simply unacceptable.

The accomodation was excellent, the breakfast fabulous but unfortunately the restaurants were either extremely poor (ouzeri) or just adequate but not value for money. Service was generally ok.
Especially "ouzeri" was a middle class fish taverna. The best restaurant was the polynisian one but still it was too expensive for the quality provided.

This year I was looking for a very special place to spend my summer vacation. Grand Resort Lagonissi was highly recommended by some friends that spent their holidays there in the summer of 2010.

It did not disappoint. A unique travelling experience, it was the ideal place to spend a week of total rest and relaxation. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and comfortable and made sure even the tiniest detail was taken care of.

Our room was a lovely bungalow in front of the sea, taking advantage of a dreamy sunset. The only reason to leave it was to either swim at the crystal clear waters, or to dine at one of the first choise restaurants that operate during the evening.

The food was excellent, and so was the service throughout the resort.

All in all it was one of the best experiences a guest would wish for.
