“Nice hotel, so-so location”

My room was very large, clean and comfortable. The A/C worked great, and the bed and shower were both good. Despite its location on the interstate, the hotel was quiet. Breakfast was average for a mid-priced hotel.

My only issue was the location -- there are no nearby restaurants (other than fast food at the next freeway exit).

For that reason alone, I would probably look elsewhere next time I am in the area. Otherwise, this is a very nice hotel that I would recommend.

“Nice, simple hotel for business travel”

I stayed at the HI Express in Longview for two nights in January on a business trip. This was my first time at this property. I was impressed with the staff. Everyone I spoke with was friendly and professional. My room was nice, clean, and quiet. The hotel offers free high-speed internet either by ethernet cable or wireless connection. The excercise room has treadmills, excercise bikes and more.

I stayed here on business about two months ago and the hotel was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were wonderful and very spacious, the complimentary high speed was a major plus, they had both wireless and hard-wired in the rooms. It was about a 15 minute drive to most the restraunts in town, but being right off the interstate and within 5 minutes of the businesses I was making sales calls on that week the location was very convenient. All around a great place.
