Hotel was very nice on the inside, in keeping with all of the Courtyard renovations. Staff was helpful and friendly. There is absolutely nothing around the hotel though. If you want a restaurant, go about 3 miles north and you'll hit all kinds of options. If you're just stopping before you go over the border, this would be a good place to sleep.

This hotel is a very nice and clean hotel. The staff is very accomodating. I went on a business trip for 3 days and it was very comfortable. The king size bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. The morning breakfast is standard, (i.e. Eggs, bacon, hash browns, yogurt, granola, etc). During the evening, you also get a free alcoholic beverage. The on-site restaurant is not pricey at all. I ordered a hamburger and fries one night and it was a flat $5.00. The only downside was that during my stay, the internet service was extremely slow. The business center is in the public lobby, but the staff are very acomodating when faxing documents, which is behind the staff counter. And the kicker was that they checked me in at noon, when they technically didn't have to check me in until 3:00 pm. I will definitely stay here again.

This hotel was very clean and the service great. Felt safe even though the town of Laredo is a little scary especially at night. We stayed here before crossing the next morning into Mexico and it was the perfect stop. Only about a half mile to the bridge. For an extra $10 you can opt to have the breakfast for everyone in your room. It's well worth the extra especially since the breakfast was great! I would and will stay at this hotel again!

The Courtyard in Laredo is perfectly situated in downtown Laredo. It is right on the access road of I-35 and provides quick and easy access to get you going back on the road. Courtyard recently renovated all of their hotels, and they did not forget Laredo. The food is good. The rooms are great, and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
While the Courtyard Laredo does advertise a fitness center, in reality it is 2 treadmills, 1 elliptical, and a few dumbbells. The pool is well kept, and there is a walking security guard that patrols the parking lot at night. For a quick 1-2 night stay, the courtyard Laredo is hard to beat.
