We stayed at this hotel on December 26. Somehow I had made our reservation for the location in New Caney a few miles up the road, but the GM, who happened to be working the desk, immediately assured me that not only would he call and cancel us at New Caney if we wished, but he would give us the same rate at this hotel if we wanted to stay there. We had reserved a regular king room, but they gave us a King suite. The service of the employees was such that I was looking around to see if there were corporate types lurking! The bed was great, and I love having a sofa sitting area. However two problems with the TV: One, it was wall mounted right in front of the bed, so it was hard to see from the sofa. Mounting in the middle or a swivel mount would do the trick. The ohter negative was the tv itself; it had several artifacts burned in at the top. Wasn't unwatcheable, but wasn't great either. It was the last room on the 3rd floor, if anyone there is reading this. I think it was 328. Breakfast wasn't anything to cheer about. No meat of any kind, but a suite for $71, I'm happy.
