This was without a doubt the worst hotel I've ever stayed in in my entire life! Extremely dirty! Smelled horrible,can't even begin to explain. Pool water was brown, I am in the process of trying to get my money back although I know it won't happen! DO NOT STAY at this HOTEL!

The rooms were dirty and not kept up very well, and a real maintenance person should be hired. My toilet didn't flush well and I was going to pull the lid off but it was plastered into the wall "repairs". Came down for breakfast and nothing good was ever there. Always had to wait if I wanted anything cooked. I'm going to recommend Hotwire remove this one. Not a budget surprise I want on a trip.

Wife and I, son and his fiancee booked this hotel to be close for the funeral of my father in-law. The front desk was ok and they provided us with 2 rooms. The room that my wife and I got smelled but otherwise was ok. Wife and I had stayed the previous week at Holiday Inn Express and we loved it but could not afford it this time. My son and fiancee stayed in another room but complained of rust in bathtub. I went to front desk and got them another room. About 1 hour later wife was resting and i noticed a rat exiting room. Then I remembered what that funny smell was-Moth balls.

I quickly got a refund and we booked the Roadway which we loved and will stay there in the future. We later found out that other family members, here for the funeral, had the same issues with the Super 8 hotel.

I stayed here on my way back from Brownsville, Tx I stayed in Room 131 lower level back next to stairs. The room was less than expected. Bath above my room was collapsing the ceiling with dampness.. The bed was decent, room decor was lower mid class. Cleaning was not done very well with all the spider webs around fixtures. Had a nice desk, chair for PC, and eating table.

Wireless from Super 8 never worked, but luckily there was adjoining Ramada in the Parking lot and i was able to use the Ethos from Ramada...

When the sun went down, I could hear the rats/mice come out there was a closet on the wall on tv side and I could hear the rats eating grubbing around all night causing poor sleep. Then when i went to the bathroom in the morning 2 rats come running across the carpet..

Needless to say, I will not be staying here. Should probably report to the Health Department.
