This hotel gets the job done. I am used to staying at Hampton Inns so anytime I can't stay there I am leary about what to expect. My stay started the morning of checkin with a call confirming my arrival which was a nice touch. Check in was easy, free warm cookies at check in and a letter from the manager in my room. Wireless internet worked flawlessly. The bed was comfortable. I was weirded out by the last review of bed bugs. Didn't have any effects of bed bugs, but made sure I only touched only the sheets. (I think the last review was a disgruntled customer and saying the word bed bugs sure did it) I did have a couple of minor issues. Could hear the TV next door and the guy upstairs was running, droping stuff, doing something to make it very noisy. Bring earplugs and get a high floor. Another issue was that they didn't rotate the fruit in the breakfast bar. Several of the apples were so old they were wrinkling. I also got a call from the hotel a day before my departure telling me they heard I was checking out early. I never told anyone I was checking out early. It was a little annyoing explaining I wasn't leaving early. This hotel is not within walking distance to anything unless you want to buy a car, there is a dealership next door. (Not a big deal since when in Texas does anyone walk?) The price was right and I had a tax exempt certificate which they took without question, which is usually not the case with other hotels. Business center was good for printing boarding pass, but one computer was out of service, but there never was a line. Overall they are making a strong efforts to excell in customer service and ensure guests have an enjoyable stay. I would stay here again.
