Checked in on business, and was warmly greeted by hotel staff member working the desk. Easy check in no issues, even got good reviews of l;ocal restraunts and an offered coupons for local restraunts, giveing great discounts. Rooms immaculately clean, but showing their age in decor only, not becaouse of frayed edges or falling apart furniture. The rooms just need to be brought up to 2010. A little ways out from FT Hood is that's why you are there, but definately worth the drive. Continental breakfast unremarkable, but there if you are hungry. All in all a great hotel, weel kept, with a friendly staff. You can't ask for much more. Fitness center needs a little more. It only has a single stairmaster, bike and treadmill.

We arrived in the evening after driving 1000 miles, the staff was talking on the phone we had to wait till she noticed us and got off the phone. The room was clean, there was a dead cricket in the bathroom the maid did not remove it the whole stay, however it was posted that it was the time of the year the crickets come inside. There was one thing I found strange they did not line the trash cans in the rooms with trash bags. The pool & hot tub was clean and warm. The breakfast was average. There was some noise from the highway

Kids loved the Texas shaped waffels at the breakfast in the morning. Didnt have a military rate. Boys loved the pool too.

I was in Killeen on business at Fort Hood. I liked that the rooms had a separate living and sleeping area and the bathroom was a good size. The free breakfast in the morning was decent. What made this an excellent stay was the front desk staff. They went out of their way when I made a request for a fork to enjoy my to go dessert (I was in my pajamas at the time). They were very efficient at check in and out. They also made excellent recommendations for area restaurants.
