Was in town on business, and prefer rooms with smoking. This is a decent hotel, but I'm not sure if it should carry the HI name. Decent rooms, outdoor entry to rooms. Seemed like a converted Super 8. Price was a steal though.

We stayed here for 2 weeks and while the hotel itself is older and not really a typical HI Express, the staff was great. The room was small, and like others have said, some sort of other hotel prior to being named a HI Express. Breakfast included biscuits and gravy, eggs/cheese omelets, bacon or sausage. All were available every day.

The room was clean and cleaned well every day. The staff was very friendly. The bathroom was very small, so small that the toilet that was installed had to be mounted at an angle in order to close the door. My bathtub drains very slowly so I bought a bottle of Liquid Plumber myself but even that didn't help.

The lobby has cheese and crackers, wine, and sodas every day along with cookies and candy, all for free.

Overall a good stay but definitely a dated hotel.

The room was quiet and that's the only good comment I have. I like Holiday Inn but this one is terrible. One side of the bed was hard while the other side was lumpy and I almost sunk in. I had to sleep across the bed to get comfortable. The pillows were small and lumpy. A brochure in the room said they had wireless but it turned out you needed to go to the office to get a cable. Had they told me that before I got in my PJ's I would have been a lot happier.

I decided to stay here because, for the most part, Holiday Inn Expresses are clean, have amenities, and decent breakfasts. This one is much older. Around 12 years old. There is no pool and the gym is tiny. Breakfast is very lacking. Most HI Expresses have hot breakfast items, standard is gravy, biscuits, sausage/bacon, and cinamon rolls. Here, you were lucky to have 1 of the above items. Either, biscuits no gravy, bacon no biscuits, and so on. They gave the gov't rate, $70, so no big deal.
