“Fantastic”

I went on a roadtrip across America in September with my dad and brother. We stayed in a different hotel every night for 4 weeks apart from this one. We were so impressed by the staff, food and facilities that we stayed an extra night.
Bearing in mind that a dinner of the quality we had both nights would set you back about $40 per meal per person in any restaraunt I really don't see how people can complain.
The staff were chatty and friendly, rooms were clean and most importanty the beds were comfy.
The pool was a good size compared to most other hotels we visited and was also clean.
I would definately recommend staying here.

“Goog deal and friendly staff”

Some of the reviews I have read don't do justice. Granted this is not a 5-star hotel, but all in all it is not bad. They gave us coupons to use in the bar and dining room. Inedible food? Not at all. I had a steak there (it IS a steak house) and it was very tasty.
Rooms are spacious and clean. We went to check the pool and it was very clean looking.
The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome.
All in all, I would stay again

“What went right? Very little.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 August 2010

Well, the rate was very reasonable, but it turned out to be one of those "you get what you pay for” (sometimes) stays.
The motel had I would estimate 5% occupancy, at most, during our stay, so it wasn’t a case of overworked staff not being able to keep up.
The assigned room had no desk, and as I had work to do, I asked that we be moved to a room with a desk. They had to physically check empty rooms to find one with a desk (you would have thought that the design of the rooms would be something easily researched within their computer system). They did move us to a room with a desk. Unfortunately the air conditioner in that room was not working. The manager commented something to the effect that he had forgotten that the air conditioner in that room was broken. Since the outside temp was in the high 90's, a functioning air conditioner was a must.
They finally found a room with a desk and functioning air conditioner. We noted that there was no hair dryer and both the table lamp and clock on the nightstand weren't working (they weren't plugged in, as there was no outlet on that side of the bed). We were given a (wall-mount model) hair dryer and the maintenance man ran an extension cord from the other side of the bed.
The next morning we drove around to the front entrance to enjoy our "Continental Breakfast" and found the front doors locked and no one at the front desk (which can be seen through the doors). After knocking on the doors for a few minutes, a man came and let us in. We then went to the breakfast room which can only be described as a dismally decorated/appealing room that had one large table and about ten chairs around it. The continental breakfast was a joke, consisted of a choice of bagels, bread and cereal. The bagels and bread were in their store wrappings. The milk, orange juice, margarine and cream cheese were in a small refrigerator. There was a toaster and a coffee maker. That was the breakfast.
We left the room at 8 AM and returned at 4:30 PM to discover that the room had not been made up. When we called the front desk (which had to ring at least 10 times before being answered), the man who answered responded with something like "Oh, you mean your room was not made up?" We asked for housekeeping service and some fresh towels. The maintenance man brought fresh towels very quickly, at which time we complained again about the room not being made up, to which he replied that he would tell the manager. The room was never made up and we didn’t even get a call apologizing for it.
The room was made up the following day while we were out
All in all it was a very disappointing stay. There was an obvious lack of management acumen, coupled with an apparent lack of communication among staff and management.

“HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE”

Hazardous, food they say is included, but they didnt say inedible!!!! I reserved a week stay. I wanted to leave that same day, they said they would not refund any so I had no option but to stay. Hazardous conditions inside the hotel. Filthy Bug ridden rooms, pipes rattled. Toilet did not work. I COULD NOT TAKE IT ANYMORE and left after 3 days. I WOULD NEVER EVER STAY THERE AGAIN. There is a motel 6 down the road that I stayed at that is 30 times better.
I took photos of the hazard and going to get the health department involv ed.

“Don't stay here unless you briing your own bedding and towels”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 August 2010

I was very disappointed. They attempted to clean our room and left the bedding on the floor, and no sheets for one bed and not towels. I had to strip one of my friends beds to get sheets and make my own bed. Also had to get towels from one of my other firends. Notified the desk, and they promised to take care of it but never did. Don't stay here. Also they are trying to double charge for the room and they won't answer phone calls or emails. Satisfaction guaranteed on their web ad. HA
