The pictures of this hotel are from their date when opened. The room smelled like urine! Old and worn out. The staff is friendly and welcome you but that's just not enought for me to feel good and sleep comfortably. Bed sheets looked clean but with the smell of the roomPool was dirty! Green stuff and hair floating in pool. Ceiling falling down in areas. Walls are paper thin. Could hear the people on the phone in the room next to us. Window AC unit. Cutting on and off all night. I was woken up almost every hour.
Breakfast was free and adaquate. Nothing fancy.
I will not recomment stopping at this hotel.

Staff were friendly and helpful, but the facility is clearly aging. Breakfast was decent (pre-fab eggs and sausage, waffles if they remember to turn the power on for the waffle iron, fruit, cereal, bagels, etc). The pool and spa were dingy/dirty. There was dirt and sand in the spa (could've just been a bad day from returning river goers) and the pool water was faint yellow color that even made my young kids (who live for the pool at hotels) hesitate.

Beds were comfy, AC was very cold, which is a welcome thing in the summer in the hill country, location is convenient to I-40 but still not far from the river and plenty of places to eat.

We wouldn't choose this hotel again. It's not too bad, but we prefer something a little newer.

This motel was the best ever. No pets, an indoor pool, clean rooms, outstanding and friendly staff, and a fabulous continental breakfast. My son and I stayed here for a week as we came into town for a wedding. I was pleasantly surprised at the decor inside and out. Breakfast included: eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cold cereal, texas waffles, bagels and cream cheese and pastries. The staff of this motel is the most friendly and helpful that I've ever come across in my travels. When I go back to visit Kerrville I will stay no where else but here.

There was a lizard thing in our room on the wall and then he went into the crack between the wall and ceiling. Newely redone bathroom tile and sink. Only 2 floors but I don't think they have an elevator. The pool looks disgusting.... the water was clear but the chips and different shades of green, white, and brown of the pool itself made me not want to get in. The picture of the pool on the company's website is not accurate. The tile around the pool is accurate, but the pretty water isn't. Only for the price I would recommend this hotel to a friend. Bed is comfy and clean. Clean-looking bathroom.
