This is a very inexpensive hotel. However, the service was excellent and the rooms very, very clean. I was pleasantly surprised of the condition of the room and the warmth and friendliness of the staff.

Was a little unsure about booking this room over the phone but when we arrirved we found a good clean room at a fair price. Would I stay here again? You Bet! Not a lot to do in Junction but if you are looking for a good clean place to lay your head this may be it.

I stayed here for one night to get some sleep on my road trip. Even after reading good reviews about this place, I was still pleasantly surprised with my accommodations. It's nothing to brag about on the outside, but my room was spotless. It was comfortable, spacious, and clean (the bathroom was tiny though). The wireless internet worked well. There was a fridge/microwave. I parked right outside my door and felt safe the entire time. The hotel is located right off I-10 and is within a mile or two of several local restaurants, convenience stores, and grocery stores (everything is on one main street). The staff was friendly, as were the people I came into contact with in town. This isn't a vacation hotspot by any means, but it's a great place to stay for a night or two, should you pass through.

Traveling to Junction for business, am a ChoiceHotels reward club member. I typically stay at Comfort Inns or Comfort Suites, but that is not an option in Junction. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this property, especially for a budget-price hotel. Room was very clean, including the bathroom. AC was fully capable of controlling the temperature, even in South Texas in July. Room has standard amenities including alarm clock, coffeemaker, etc. Decent cable TV lineup. All in all, you get more than you pay for at this hotel.

A couple of minor irritations. The door to the room has a metal strip on the bottom to help insulate the room; however, the new carpeting was too thick and it was difficult to open the door past 1/2 way. The bathroom was smallish, but not so that it was unusable. The sink/vanity area is actually in the main area which is not uncommon at this price point. The shower curtain is on the old-fashioned straight rod and I prefer the curved rod that holds the curtain away from you. All minor points, sure, but irritations nonetheless.
