This hotel is nice, but the service wasn't great (and I am really not that picky). When I arrived at DFW airport, I called the hotel for pick up and was told immediately that my room wasn't ready. I was subsequently picked up by a woman who didn't even bother to get out of the van to help open the door (they are always tricky on those vans), get the luggage, etc. Then we drove around for about 15 minutes to find another passenger, and finally got to the hotel. At the hotel the woman just jumped out of the van and disappeared, leaving me to get the back door of the van open and pull out my luggage. When I got to the desk, I was again told that my room wasn't ready-surprise, by the same woman who had driven the van! The other man at the desk was friendly, but throughout my stay it was difficult to get someone to come to the front desk for assistance. I experienced the same problem that others have reported-for my return trip to the airport I needed to leave the hotel at 5:30am and they did not have a shuttle at that time. They were able to arrange a shuttle pick up with their "sister" hotel, so it did work out, and the shuttle driver from the other hotel was friendly, very helpful, and got a big tip from me. Otherwise, the room was nice, clean, the evening "reception" was nice to have included (especially the wine!) and the in-room wireless internet was convenient. I would have rated this hotel at 5 stars but did not because of the service.

Great hotel, but if you have an early flight you have two options: Bring your rental car to the hotel or take a cab. I didn't realize - until I got there - that their courtesy van doesn't begin operation until 7am. Are you kidding me?!?!?! This is an airport hotel, and their van should begin services much earlier. By the way, the cab fare was $18 for about 2.5 miles. Thanks Homewood Suites for that little extra surprise. I won't be staying here again.

Pretty good hotel with big clean rooms and good service with breakfast, close to the airport and easy access to highway going to Dallas or Fort Worth.

I needed a hotel close to the DFW airport for an overnight stay as I had an early morning flight. There were a few hotels to choose from so I was a little apprehensive as to what it was going to be like. I was so relieved that the hotel complimentary transport picked us up at the airport within 10 minutes of calling, the driver was very friendly and polite and a wonderful first impression of Dallas. The hotel room was wonderful I especially liked the bathroom products selection. I would also recommend this hotel if you are staying longer than a night as the room was equipped with a full kitchen. The hotel provide complimentary dinner and breakfast. The menu changes on a daily basis and it is very basic (we had hotdogs) but the beer and wine is included and is self-serve. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I could not fault this hotel. Great outdoor area, including pool, basketball courts and BBQ I just wish my stay was longer so I could have enjoyed it all. I would recommend getting the shuttle bus operating hours prior to your stay as we thought it started at 5am, which is when we needed to go to the airport, but was told it was starting at 7am so we needed to get a taxi instead. This was no big deal for us and they did arranged a taxi for us and we knew upfront how much it was going to cost. But if you are deciding on this hotel based on their shuttle service then this might be an inconvenience for you.
