That's where I'd rather be.

It's a Homestead alright. I've seen better. But it was clean and somewhat comfy.
I'd say more like, functional.

Something about the NE corner of the airport, say's, 'Dated' to me.
The buildings, the rooms, the hotels (name any major chain). I drove past a lot of them and was not impressed.

Well this Homestead was fine, on the outside, good, in the lobby, okay, in the hallway and manageable, inside the room.

Nothing in the room said, new or updated. It rang of old, used, but not abused in any way.
I did not cringe, nothing was dirty, everything looked used, but worked just fine. No sparkly items to be seen.

I kept getting that feeling a cobweb or bug, was going to come out.
I looked and there were none to be found. I repeat, the place is clean.

The shower was a piece of work, to figure out. It was old, worn, weird and had a funky way to turn up the water pressure. Maybe 3 small specks of mold on the bottom of the shower curtain. But the show tub, walls and fixtures were clean.

My only problem was, that they do charge for Wi-fi ($4.99 Grrrr). It was down for 10 hours that night. I really wanted to use it and that was bugging me. But I did get a credit for the charge and that's that

The Ladies at the front desk, especially Dakota were very nice.

I survive my stay.

It makes for a shorter trip to the airport. Still far (two toll routes and one long no toll, too), even though you are near enough, to hear the jets revving up. Once you step outside on occasion.
I repeat, only when you step outside and it's occasional.

So plan on, a 15 to 20 min trip to drop your car off.

Would I stay there again.
Probably not.

But, if it was that or my car.
Then I'd gladly take a room,
no qualms, about it!

I had a layover via DFW and I saw this hotel to be a good bargain. It has a kitchen and living room. Warning: Grout in Bathroom is terrible, and shower curtain was filthy. I just pulled it off prior to showering. Location is filled with other hotels. Denny's near by which shuttle driver will take you there. The Refrigerator had food from prior guest still in it. Overall if you have 1 night, you will make it, anymore than that forget it.

I was connecting through DFW and booked this hotel because it was cheap and had a free shuttle. When I arrived at the airport I called the hotel to get the shuttle. The phone would ring twice and then go to a busy signal. I kept trying for about an hour (part of it was waiting for my bags anyway). Finally I took a taxi to the hotel. Once there I couldn't even get into the lobby. They had a small room that you would normally go through to get to the lobby that was open. It had an after hours check-in system where I was supposed to look for my first name and then type in the first four letters of my last name and this box would open and give me my key. There were six of these boxes. Two of them said "closed" and the other four said nothing. I tried typing my last name into all of them anyway. Nothing worked. There was also a phone next to the boxes, but it had the same busy signal that I got from the airport. I finally gave up and went across the street to the Motel 6 that actually had someone at the counter.

Once I got home I called Expedia and they refunded me the hotel price and also gave me a $25 coupon.

We just arrived at the DFW airport late in the evening,and we were waiting for our normal hotel to pick us up at the airport.We waited for over an hour for them to pick us up,so I decided to call this hotel and see if they had any rooms available.They did ,and we soon drove over to their establishment.We checked in and asked the hotel staff where was a good restarant open to eat this late and the staff helped us find a good restaurant to eat at and also the next day.Even late at night ,the hotel staff was willing to find us a place that was still open at 10 pm at night.
