Our family had a great experience at the Embassy Suites, DFW South, Irving, Texas. We arranged with Clara Diaz / Director of Catering, Capistrano's @ Embassy Suites DFW South
for a University Graduation for our daughter. Clara worked so professionally patient with finalizing our arrangements, coordinating my changes and whims. The room, the tables and linens and decorations were lovely. The room was easily accessible to the beautiful huge and vibrant Atrium area and bar. The catering staff were courteous and amiable with our requests. The charges were very exact, and the last minute additions were charged precisely and fairly, not huge increases as I have experienced from other caterers.

This hotel is not as bad as some of the reviewers indicate. In fact, it is a perfectly nice hotel. While it is not as shiny as some newer Embassy Suites, the staff was nice, our room was clean, there were flat panel TVs in the rooms, the gym was small but well equipped, and the pool was well maintained. They also had a special for free high-speed itnernet. I would definitely stay there again. We went for a quick trip to Six Flags for New Year's. We had a great time and look forward to going back next.

We've stayed at several hotels and several Embassy Suites (which we prefer to stay at) This one was by far the best one. The only complaint I can possibly think of is the line for the manager's reception was extremly long and the alcohol was not good at all (compared to our other Embassy Suites experiences). Other than that the rooms were very clean and spacious. Beds were very comfortable, pillows were wonderful, sheets were clean and comfortable, plenty of blankets for all. Free breakfast was amazing although we weren't told that weekday breakfast stops at 9am (which is 10:30am on weekends) so we missed getting breakfast on Monday before we hit the road to go back home. The kids were very disappointed they didn't get to eat there again before we left.

The family and I just returned from a stay at this location. We are primarily Embassy Suites guests over any other chain suite hotel. Though things may be a tad dated, I would say that the actual cleanliness comfort and hospitality more than compensated for a few older things. My only complaint would be the room was a hair stuffy for my tastes but not even close to a deal killer. in response revious comments, yes they have the new TV's. Our fondest memories are the excellent condition of the pool, hot tub and fitness room. It has a lovely center piece fountain and atreum which is a wonderful way to enjoy the Manager's Happy hour, If we find ourselves back at DFW we will stay here again.
