“Changing the name brand doses not mean its a Hyatt”

I just came back from Dallas. I stayed at this location which is now called Hyatt House. The clerk who check me in was not up to the standards of a Hyatt property. She seemed distracted and nit helpful. After a 3 hour delay from SFO I was really hungry and when I asked if the dinner was still going she replied nope we closed it 10 minutes ago. Luckily I went through the lobby to get to my room and I saw there was food and others were eating the staff their was pleasant and they offered me a salad, wings and beverages. No rush. It help. Now to the room I asked for a room near the main building and they could not help me so I lug my bags to the far end of the property and Walk up to the 2nd floor. When I went into the room the bedroom phone I'd not work and the ZtV didn't work. I called from the living room and called the desk and their reply was you can watch tv in the other room and use the kitchen phone. In the end the next morning the stff was pleasant in the breakfast areas and the front desk. My suggestion is if you want a Hyatt don't go here. Go to a Hyatt Place, Regency or Grand Hyatt

Room Tip: If you here the just changed the name of the propery run or call the hotel and ask when they hanged...

“Love this Place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 January 2012

This was our 2nd time staying at this hotel. My family of 5 love the 2 bedroom suite! There is plenty of room to spread out and the furnishings are modern, tasteful and very comfortable. The kids were surprised that the front desk had basketballs for them to use on their courts. The staff was super friendly! ZERO complaints from this traveller! There are many dining options nearby and Dallas is just a quick drive away!

“Could not have asked for better!!! Changing names to Hyatt House this month.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 January 2012

We spent two nights at this property last week. We were in Dallas for the Cotton Bowl which was held at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Arlington (less than a 20 minute drive)

There were many positive reviews of this property, and I can say that it lived up to my expectations, and then some. We had a two bathroom/two bedroom suite with a living area and kitchenette. There were LCD tvs in both bedrooms as well as the living area. There is a hot breakfast buffet and a hot/cold appetizer Social happy hour Monday-Thursday. Pretty standard fare, which we found to be plentiful and filling.

This property may be a few years old, but it is super clean and well maintained. Every staff memeber that we met was very friendly and helpful. Beds were extremely comfortable, and we had a great rate that was advertised on the the Hyatt website. The rooms are really like apartments, and the perfect choice-as we were traveling with another couple.

I can say without a doubt that I will stay here everytime that I visit the Dallas area.

“nice place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 December 2011

after booking two 2bedroom apartments one month before arriving.... we arrived to find they allocated our 5 person family in different places. After discussing and complaining to the managers, we were placed in 3 separate ground floor apartments, which worked well for us in the end, with space. The reception staff did do a great job to help us get what we wanted.
The place itself, is lovely clean and spacious. The breakfast choices were very good. We didnt use the pool as it was cool weather, but looked well maintained. As in location, its great. Easy access to both airports and downtown. There are small restaurants and stores across the road, and a lovely lake next to the hotel. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
There is also free internet.

Room Tip: there are no elevators... so try to book a groundfloor unit.

“Large, Apartment Size and Style, Great for Families”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 December 2011

The biggest draw to this property is the size of the room. Since the property looks like an apartment complex, the rooms are very large, with separate living/kitchen and bedroom/bath. There's even a walk-in closet. Close to great restaurants and easy access to highway, makes it ideal.

The only negative is that my room was on the third floor and there are no elevators, so I had to tote my luggae up three flights of stairs.

Room Tip: Ask for first floor if available because rooms can go high as 3rd floor and there is no elevator. B...
