My husband and I stayed at the Holiday Inn DFW South during our trip to the Cotton Bowl at Cowboys Stadium. We were especially pleased with our stay at this hotel and with the staff! The property was very clean and pretty. The room was perfectly comfortable.

The location was very convenient! When we booked, we were concerned about the distance to the stadium, but it was just right! The hotel uses an outside “tailgate party” tour bus service for transport to Cowboys Stadium. Our cost for the round trip shuttle tickets was certainly better than the cost of parking, and it was only about 15 minutes to the game.
We communicated via email with the Operations Manager (thanks, Sal!) regarding the details of our trip. Not that we previously knew anyone at the hotel – we just clicked the “contact us” link on the hotel’s website and this courteous and helpful gentlemen responded with answers to all our questions. Due to the hotel’s help and communication, we were able to get to our room, change, and be out front with the wristband for the shuttle just in time. We were so grateful to have taken the bus, since we had been driving all day.

My wife and I missed our international flight to Chile on 11/29/2011. American Airlines gave us a discount coupon to this hotel. When we checked in (pretty late in the evening). When the young man heard that we had a 24-hour layover, he informed us that he would put us in a nicer room, give us a late check out, and that our bags could be held at the front desk while we shopped or went to the theater the next day.

I stay at IHG's about one day a week on average, from the Willard in Washington D.C. to Holiday Inn Expresses in no account places. I was really pleased with this hotel and the front desk employees, both in the evening and the next day.

We stayed here November 5th, the night before catching our flight to Cancun. Upon arrival, we were checked in quickly and were quite surprised when we walked in the room. Small kitchen, living area and bedroom area... separate bathroom and vanity, which makes it a lot easier to get ready in the morning! The hotel staff is very helpful about directions to get to places, so if you have any questions at all, just ask! We left our car here while we were gone and nobody messed with it. Be sure to let the hotel know when you will be returning and take a card at the front desk with you so you can call for your transportation as soon as you clear customs. Our whole experience was smooth and there was no waiting on the shuttle to get to DFW or when we returned to get back to our car.

Not only is the hotel convenient and clean, the staff go out of their way to ensure that your stay is satisfactory. The hotel offers shuttle service to and from DFW evey half hour. The breakfast selections are good and the area is kept clean. The rooms and large and well organized with plenty of work space and kitchenette area with sink, microwave, refrigerator and table. Great when you are tired of always eating out in restaurants on the road. Rooms are quiet and bedding is clean and comfortable.
