I came in to judge a dog agility trial, which involves me being on my feet from 7:00 a.m. in the morning to 5:00 p.m., with no breaks. It's a very physically, and mentally demanding task.
Therefore, it's REALLY important that I have a good night's sleep the night prior. This is why I don't stay at the dog show host hotel for the dog show!
Anyway, this hotel was exactly what I wanted. Reasonably priced for the club that was paying for it, but really, really, clean, quiet, and comfortable.
When I went to my room, I was concerned that it was opposite the elevator. I'm a VERY light sleep, but fortunately, no problems. The reason I accepted this room was that on my ride up in the elevator, I talked with a frequent visitor to that hotel that works 16 hour shifts, vs. my puny 10 hr. ones. He confirmed that he always gets a good night's sleep at the hotel.
Plus, it's close ti restaurants, the airport, etc. and it felt very safe.
The staff were very friendly, and my pre-paid reservation went without a hitch.
Breakfast was a little above average, as it offered hot items like eggs and sausage, and waffles. I didn't try those, as they're precooked, and heated up in a microwave, but most people would find it acceptable.
There's plenty of other choices, including yogurt, cereal, juice, etc.
Not only would I go back again, but I would book it to host a seminar I need to do once every 3 years, as the last hotel close to the airport had some pretty nasty rooms.
Great place, and great staff. Plus, it's a new hotel.
