This is a business class Hilton in a less than desirable part of Houston. It located immediately in the energy center, so the immediate area is okay. Drive a block away and things change quickly... With that said, my check in was efficient. I was upgrded to a suite on the 9th floor. The suite was spacious and exceeded expectations. The executive lounge had a nice breakfast as well. All in all a good stay...

I stayed here for a board meeting that took place at the hotel.

Pros: nice large room with comfortable beds and linens. Helpful staff. There is an airport shuttle but it only runs every 30 minutes. Starbucks in lobby.

Cons: walls and doors are very thin so you could hear alarms going off and showers running. Room was VERY dark. I couldn't ready printed material after dark. Housekeeping staff kept resetting the thermostat when they cleaned so I would come back to a room much hotter than I wanted (and in Houston that isn't fun) My tub didn't drain well and wasn't fixed despite asking for the repair twice. Very limited dinner choices in the hotel itself. Internet was provided for the conference but connection was terrible and we were continually getting logged off.

We went to Houston to visit family for Chritmas, and we stayed at the Hilton Houston north. Everyone there was extremely friendly, and went out of their way to be especially helpful. Even though we were far from home on the holiday, we never felt home sck. We plan on staying here from now on when we come to Houston.

I spent 10 to 12 nights in hotels per month and the personnel at Hilton north Houston is so nice that every stay makes me feel at home,living up north I now know the meaning of "Southern Hospitality".The rooms are clean,quiet and very comfortable,many channels are available on tv and WiFi signal is very good.The restaurant offers a well diversified menu and the food prepared with originality.Besides the hotel have a nice pool and a fitness center.For the coffee lovers there is a Starbuck coffee in the lobby during the week.Thanks to all the personnel of Hilton north Houston,you are great ,keep up the good work,
