We stayed at the Baymont Inn for one night. We didn't like it at all. We had a room in a dark coridor with a nice view on an out of order vending machine and ever-growing piles of garbage in, on top of and beside a garbage can that was not emptied. The room smelled awful, despited is being heavily scented. We think it may have been flooded some time ago. It smelled that way, anyway. The poo was great. The breakfast was the final turn-off. We had to struggle with hotel personnel who also wanted to have breakfast at the same time. Meanwhile, the juice machine only provided lightly colored water, and no one seemed to care enough to do someting about it. After a while, one of the personnel members started to clean the almost flooded sink of the machine, throwing cups of watery juice into the garbage bin, one at a time. Is this sabotage? In our view, there far too many people chatting or acting important behind the front desk instead of doing the work that desperately needed to be done. We would like to make one exception: the check-in guy was really nice and helpful. Our advice: see if this guy has family members looking for a job and hire them. This hotel could do a lot better.
