I stay at this hotel twice a year for business. I love it's close proximity to the airport, and the staff is absolutely amazing here. I never feel the need to complain about my stay, mainly because the staff and service make me forget about any negative experience. This time was different. The staff was still just as wonderful, but my room smelled like an ashtray, I killed two bugs, there was a hint of mildew on my second night, and the TV would not work (normal channels...anything you had to pay for via the Menu option worked just fine of course). I'm sure I'll still consider staying here on my next trip, but the Doubletree needs to make some serious changes. Regardless, I am very thankful for the kind staff here.

Very convenient for air and ground travelers with a shuttle to the airport and free parking for those with a car. There are a limited number of restaurant and bars within walking distance of you want to use them. The Hotel is kept in excellent condition and the staff is exceptional.

The hotel was close to the airport and close to the location of my meetings. I was very happy to be able to order late room service when my evening meeting went much longer than anticipated. Because I did not rent a car during my trip as my meetings were in walking distance, I did not have the option to go elsewhere for dining. But the hotel restaurant was great and the value was very good. The airport shuttle was very convenient and quick. The front desk staff were great and even though there was some sort of convention going on, it was still very quiet and I was able to work. I come to Houston often but never stayed at this particular hotel. I will definitely stay again and again.
