Outside pool was green, inside heated pool and spa was not heated, the ice maker on the 1st floor did not work, Had to go get clean towels the 2nd day, the 3rd day the room still had not been cleaned so had to call front desk and ask for housekeeping. The room smelled like rotten feet. The onsite restaurant was shut down. This was one of the reasons for choosing this hotel was for the restaurant. After having surgery, you don't feel like driving all over town to find food.
We stayed at the same hotel 2 months ago and was told that the heat pump was out in the pool but was in the process of being fixed. It was a much better room the first time. The desk help was very friendly....no complaints in that area at all! The room was clean other than the smell. We will be choosing another hotel for our next trip to Houston! It definately was not worth the $100 per night that we had to pay!

My room was dirty, the bath was moldy, there were bugs everywhere (cockroaches in the bathtub); there was supposed to be a shuttle - there wasn't, which left me stranded literally on the freeway when the airport shuttle broke down; there was supposed to be a restaurant on property - it was closed; even the in-room coffeepot leaked everywhere. The front desk staff was rude, uninformed, NOT helpful, and, pardon me, but I think they were a little slow. As in, unintelligent. The carpets were stinky and, after 20 years of business travel, for the first time in my life I felt compelled to check for bedbugs. Never mind the fact that the TV was older than I am, there were only 2 hangers in the closet, the furniture was shabby and the ceilings were about 6 feet high. The ONLY good thing I can say about this awful place is that the hand lotion smelled nice.

My husband and I spent four nights here and found the room to be clean, linens changed promptly. We could always find enough to eat on the breakfast buffet and found the gym to be small, but enough to get a decent workout. The location was great for shopping at the Galleria! The service desk people were helpful, which is good because we needed their help a lot since our key cards would malfunction several times a day. This is why I gave the rooms a low rating. We would both carry two to increase our chances that at least one would work. Sometimes one would get us up the elevator, but not work on the door so we would have to try the other ones.

This was booked from Lagos, Nigeria for the OTC week in May. Didn't know what to expect. The room was really cosy, neat bed sheets, several towels and the convenience like brand new, but what struck me most was the uncanny friendly disposition of the staff members from the beginning to the end of my stay. There is a great painting right above the bed, a cable channel TV, dressing, ironing, reading tables. On day 2 I discovered at the Reliant Park that I misplaced my digital camera. I was totally helpless, but found it waiting for me in the evening at the counter. Really great customer services. I had a nice time. If you a looking for great customer service delivery this is the place to be; Highly recommended.
