Even though I've been trated as priority club member and I got a room upgrading, I would not suggest this hotel. I got a siut room so was very big. But the moquest has a dust smell, and the working location was very dated. The internet did not work so well and also the hot water on the tub. The location is close to freeway 59, but most of the time the traffic jam in the area is horrible. The hotel has a big parking garage for 8 dollar a day, and also the breackfast that they cook in front of you is good.

I stayed here briefly on a one night stopover in Houston. I didn't get to see the name of the hotel before I booked it, but it was the 3 1/2 star hotel I was promised. No major issues aside from the bathroom light burnt out right after check-in and we had to change rooms since it was really late. Staff was nice, parking was easy in an underground lot, and fairly priced for one of America's biggest cities. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was fine. I would not hesitate to stay again. Even though it is right next to the highway I found it very quiet. Good Job CP Houston River Oaks!

I travel to Houston often and think this hotel is consistently top notch. If you ever need help with the shuttle van, restaurant ideas or anything else just ask the concierge who is extremely helpful. Breakfast buffet nice also.

I visit this hotel very often for business as well as family trips. The staff and management are very friendly and helpful. They always cater to the needs of their visitors. The hotel is centrally located in Houston with all sorts of restuarants and shops near by. I highly recommend this hotel to buisness associates and friends staying in Houston.
