We previously had booked a room here in July, but they erred in our reservations and did not have the room we had booked. As we were leaving, the desk manager came out to our car and told us that they were going to "walk us over" to another hotel, and that they would pay for it. What she did not tell us was that they would still bill us for the night we did not spend at her property. Imagine my surprise to find a charge on my card for a night at a hotel that I didn't stay at. I called multiple times until the GM, Raju, called me back. After a lengthy conversation, he agreed that there had been a miscommunication, and offered us a free night to make up for it.
We stayed 9/10/11-9/11/11 for a nearby softball tournament. The front desk is very friendly and helpful. The rooms have plenty of space, the beds were very comfortable, and the whole property was very clean and quiet. The breakfast was fine, with eggs, bacon, and those awesome cinnamon rolls that HI Express always has. Our only issue was with our room AC; we closed the blackout shades, turned the thermostat all the way down and the fan on high, but we could not get our room really cool until about 10 at night. Fortunately we brought a fan, so it was tolerable and not worth calling and requesting a move. Overall, it was a good stay.
