“If God hated a hotel it would be The Greenway Inn & Suites... Yeah I said it...”
First off... wow... this Hotel looks nothing like the pictures on the website. Hmm, thought that would be something worth paying for but my wife and myself found out the hard way. No worries though... we'll never return.
If you like clean towels, clean rooms, great service, and/or an overall enjoyable/peaceful/fun Hotel experience... Go somewhere else! For the love of God I don't see how this Hotel gets its business! I'm am typically a very laid back kind of guy and I'm not very critical when it comes to most places but there are somethings that MUST be done. My biggest complaint is the lack of cleanliness. For example: My wife and I came into our room for the first time and found dirty towels that looked like they had been there for days with stains and what not on them (wow). Also, the bar of soap on the counter was USED!@*!&^^!(&) ahhhh! HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN!!! It honestly looked as if it were used and put back into the plastic package and then someone tried to seal with a lighter... I am blown away...
Service: if you could even call it that. I was staying during the final four and they botched my reservation - had to wait several hours to get a DOWN GRADED room... I was unable to get clean towels from the desk because "I don't have those items at the desk!" (said the clerk). I was told to go find the cleaning person. I finally found him several minutes later wandering to find out that he spoke no english whatsoever. That's fine but I was caught off-guard since this establishment advertised that it had a "Multilingual staff". Obviously not. It took forever to convince him that I needed NEW/CLEAN towels. Not old, dirty ones...
Anyway,
No working vending machines or ice machines!
Pool is now a filled in flower/tree thing... wow...
Unable to use balcony due to Pigeon infestation...
Smells of mildew and mold everywhere...
Leaking ceilings
No nightstand in room.
Hair dryer was a fire hazard
Door to patio in room did not shut all the way.
So much more but I'm tired of typing. Just stay away... I'd hate for someone else to go through this and have to pay for it like we did.
Room Tip: Book somewhere else.
